If God is love and Jesus is love, then how do we explain Matthew 15:22?

Jesus knows us better than we know ourselves. I'd say Jesus knew she had enough faith and desire for her daughter to be healed to respond as she did, rather than walking away disappointed or becoming angry with Jesus. This way, she was able to demonstrate her faith and show the rest of us, for all time, how important faith is.
