Religion forcing people to have faith?

You are confusing "religion" and "faith". The two are not interchangeable. Religion is doctrine. Faith is certainty without any proof. I have faith that my football team will win; it has nothing to do with the the rules the team adheres to. I have faith in the Creator. I do not have faith in religion.
