Can syphilis, hepatitis or HIV be spread from being in close vicinity of someone?

can syphilis , hepatitis or HIV be spread if you are sitting next to an infected person in a car and there is no ventilation cause the windows are rolled up and you are breathing in the same air that they exhale? can these diseases be spread like that? What if you touch an item that the infected person has just touched, like a pen or other object?
